It describes Spatiga Lingam darshan from 5:00–6:00 AM, moolasthana darshan from 6:00 AM–1:00 PM and again after the afternoon reopening, and the 22 internal theerthams from 5:30 AM–12:30 PM and 3:00–7:00 PM.
These are the normal displayed timings, but arrangements may differ on some dates. Festivals, crowds, maintenance and temple instructions can change the sequence, so check the intended darshan and bathing plan again shortly before travel.
The official timing page does not provide one detailed dress-code list for every part of the visit. Choose modest clothing, carry a dry set after bathing and follow the temple’s current instructions for the service you intend to attend.

Plan one connected morning, not four separate stops
For families undertaking the complete yatra, a morning may begin at Agni Theertham on the East Gate side. The normal bathing flow enters through the East Gate, reaches the twenty-two wells on the North Gate side and leaves through the South Gate. There is no dependable private changing room at the shore or after the wells, so families who need privacy are best served by a nearby hotel before returning through the main East Gate entry for the intended darshan. Agree on your family’s ritual order with the appropriate pandit.
Arrive with only what is needed, keep medicines and essential documents protected from water, and agree beforehand who will assist children or an elder. A few minutes of preparation outside the sacred sequence can prevent a hurried or uncomfortable visit inside it.

Wheelchairs may be taken inside Ramanathaswamy Temple, and most of the dry corridor and darshan route is suitable for wheelchair movement. Temple chairs are requested from staff at the East Gate and remain subject to availability. Occasional steps, level changes and uneven portions can still need careful family assistance.
Wheelchair use is not confirmed for the twenty-two-well circuit because parts of that wet route are not suitable for wheelchair travel. A wheelchair arranged through us does not include a dedicated helper, so the family must nominate one companion for hands-on support. Before travel, confirm the current approach, seating and chair requirement, and seek medical advice where bathing, fasting, heat or exertion may be unsuitable.
