Clear terms are part of a well-planned yatra.

Every yatra is customised and pricing changes with dates, stays, transport and selected services. These terms explain the planning principles; the written proposal and booking confirmation provided before payment become the detailed record for your family's booking.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation is explained against the services actually booked

A custom journey may contain stays, transport, tickets, pandit coordination and special services governed by different terms. Your proposal states the consequence of changing or cancelling each selected item before you confirm it.

Send any change or cancellation request through the contact method stated in your confirmation. Where action is still possible, the coordinator explains the applicable service or booking rule and the financial effect before proceeding.
PAYMENT

Payments follow the written proposal

Your proposal states the total price, currency, taxes, payment schedule, payment details, validity period and selected services. A payment alone is not the complete record; retain the written acknowledgement and booking confirmation.

Seasonal and date-specific pricing
The amount depends on travel dates, selected stays and transport, number of travellers, ritual or guide services and availability. The proposal clearly states how long the quoted price remains valid.
Customisation changes the quote
Adding, removing or changing cities, rooms, transport, meals or services can change the price. Ask for a revised written proposal before confirming the new plan.
Verify payment instructions
Use only the recipient name and payment method stated in the official proposal or confirmation. If instructions change, verify them through the contact route already known to your family before sending funds.
Keep the written record
Retain the proposal, accepted terms, payment acknowledgement, invoice or receipt where applicable, and the final confirmation for the full journey.
BOOKING CONDITIONS

What is confirmed, and what may still change

Your confirmation lists the travel dates, cities, selected stays and transport, included services, known exclusions, responsible contacts and the family purpose understood at that stage.
A specific rite, the person leading it, tithi or order remains subject to the guidance of an appropriate officiating pandit and the arrangements agreed for that family.
Weather, road or flight disruption, temple rules, crowd controls and local instructions may require a change. Important updates and suitable options are communicated as clearly as conditions allow.
Any substitute accommodation, vehicle or service follows the standard and limits stated in the accepted booking terms. The family is informed when a change would meaningfully affect the booking.
Please share relevant mobility, health, diet and accessibility needs, obtain appropriate medical advice, carry required travel documents and follow lawful local and safety instructions.
The accepted proposal, final confirmation and booking-specific terms form the detailed record for the journey and take priority where this overview is more general.

How your enquiry and family details are handled

What the enquiry collects ENQUIRY
The form may collect your name, email, phone number, country or starting place, preferred travel window, number of travellers, what help you are seeking, your message, the page from which you sent it and how you found the website. Family details such as tithi, gotra or relationships are optional at the first stage.
Why it is used PURPOSE
The information is used to respond to the enquiry, understand the family purpose, prepare and discuss a possible itinerary, and coordinate services the family later chooses.
Ritual and ancestral details SHARE CAREFULLY
Share only what is needed. When a selected rite requires it, relevant details may be provided to the appropriate officiating pandit or coordinator so that guidance and arrangements can be made for the family.
Travel service providers AS NEEDED
After services are selected, only the details needed to reserve the chosen stay, transport, ticket or on-ground arrangement may be shared with the relevant provider.
Storage and access LIMITED ACCESS
Enquiry and booking information is handled through the systems used to answer and arrange the journey. Access is limited to people who need it for that work. Do not send identity documents or payment credentials in the first enquiry.
How long it is kept ONLY AS NEEDED
Information is kept only while answering the enquiry, arranging an accepted booking, completing necessary follow-up or meeting financial and legal record-keeping duties. It is then deleted or stripped of identifying details when it is no longer reasonably needed.
Marketing and your choices YOUR CHOICE
An enquiry is not permission for unrelated marketing. You may ask what personal information is held, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or withdraw from optional communications.
To request access, correction or deletion, use the enquiry contact page and begin the message with “Privacy request.” We may need to verify identity before acting. Any booking-specific terms accepted by your family remain applicable to that booking.
Clear seasonal pricing and booking details, in writing.
