Use the official Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple website operated through Tamil Nadu HR&CE to check current service names, displayed fees and booking options. A third-party page or someone using the word “VIP” is not automatically connected with the temple administration.
Travellers may book temple tickets themselves through the temple's official government website. If you are travelling with us, you may also ask us to arrange the applicable tickets. Physical ticket purchase remains available in the East Gate area, which is also the main darshan entry. Whichever route is used, confirm the exact service and payment responsibility before travel.
The amounts below were checked on 30 August 2026 and can change. Check the official page again for the intended date, service and arrival instructions.

- Special darshan: ₹100 for Swamy and ₹50 for Ambal.
- Quick darshan: ₹200.
- Ganga abhishekam: ₹50.
- Rudrabhishekam: ₹3,000.
- Locker room: ₹10.
- Temple tickets may be booked by the traveller through the temple's official government website. Physical tickets can also be purchased in the East Gate area. The bathing flow enters there, reaches the twenty-two wells on the North Gate side and normally leaves through the South Gate.
- Travellers booking a supported yatra may ask us to arrange the applicable tickets. The proposal should show whether a temple ticket is being arranged and who pays it. Check current availability, payment and reporting instructions before the visit.
Ask for the official service name, not only “VIP”
Visitors often use “VIP darshan” to mean a faster or separately ticketed line. The official fee snapshot reviewed for this guide uses names such as special darshan and quick darshan. Those official names should be used when checking what is actually available.
A ticket may be booked through the official government website or arranged by us when requested. Neither route guarantees a particular waiting time or access on every date. Check the current service, how payment is handled, where to report and which instructions apply before paying.
A simple booking check
Before you pay for a temple service
Know what is included and what is paid directly
Tell us the intended darshan or pooja and the travel date. You may book the temple tickets directly through the official government website, or ask us to arrange the applicable tickets. We will separate temple payments from package inclusions in the written proposal and mark any point that still needs confirmation before it is accepted.
